| This Costa Rica house, located in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste, Costa Rica was constructed in 2003. The peaceful and beautiful setting exemplifies a luxurious Costa Rican lifestyle. The 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom main house is 2700 sq. ft. It has a fully equipped, modern American kitchen, laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. The home is air conditioned in all the living areas of the house. There is a very large one car garage with power door opener. The home makes extensive use of Pochote hardwood. All the doors, windows and cabinets were custom made at the home as well as the ceilings of the Greatroom, covered patio and Rancho Bar. Two bedrooms contain queen size beds and the third bedroom has two twin. The master bedroom has a private bath with semi sunken tub and a bay window that overlooks the ocean. The twin bedroom has its' own private entrance into the other full bath with a stall shower large enough to fit 5 adults. Each bedroom has TV with Direct TV, international zone free DVD players and now,Wireless High Speed Internet. Music for the home is provided by a Bose Acoustic Wave sound system which can be taken outside to the patio or pool area to provide you with your favorite music. Plates, linens, cookware, house and beach towels are provided. The house has a state of the art security system as well as being located in a private gated community. All public access to the home is either gated or barred for your peace of mind although it's not really necessary as the area is incredibly safe. The centerpiece of this beautiful home is the private backyard. There you will find the unique sunken Rancho Bar. The Rancho has its' own private half bath and a completely tiled outdoor shower. The sunken bar contains a wet bar with refrigerator, sink and a tiled countertop area for the blender to make your favorite frozen drink. There are 4 handmade full size barstools on which to sit under the shaded ceiling fan cooled Rancho roof. However, if wet is more your style, jump into the pool and sit on one of the three in the water barstools. You can also just relax in the Jacuzzi located on the other side of the planter peninsula. All of the homes' features are fantastic but pale in comparison to Mother Nature's creations. The incredible sunsets, after all this is the Sunset House, will simply take your breath away. No two are alike and you find yourself running home at dusk to capture its' majesty. |
